Around the nation many of us celebrated Earth Day this last Tuesday, April 22. And if by chance you turned on your television at all, you would have witnessed all of the eco-friendly tributes on about any channel you switched to.
One in particular caught my eye and heart. And the reason it caught my heart is because two women that I have always admired in the Hollywood world for their generosity and sincerity, spoke highly of my beloved; Dr. Hauschka.

Julia Roberts was on Oprah Tuesday and featured on the show was Dr. Haushcka as one of the top eco-friendly, non-toxic, and organic skin care lines! Julia is a big advocate for the line and has been quoted in the past as loving the Dr. Hauschka facials.

Sophie Uliano, author of Gorgeously Green, who also was on the show, had some great advice when looking at your skin care products:
“Read the label before you reapply your face cream. If it has germall as an ingredient, you might want to think twice. This releases toxic gases from the formaldehyde,”

Seeing the line that I am honored to work with everyday and love so much on Oprah, made my heart flutter a little bit. (ok, a lot, but who’s counting?!)

And if you haven’t tried a Dr. Haushcka facial or any of the the products yet, hopefully the endorsement of Julia and Oprah will give you the added push you need to throw out those toxic filled jars in your bathroom and put something gentle, healing and 100% natural on your skin.
