Wow! What can I say?! There has been a lot going on around here for not only Halcyon Mode, but myself as well. Let me give you a little run-down of it all :

First, my boyfriend and I decided to build a home instead of buy and thought the search for a lot would take a lot longer than it did. We found something in Jackson that we couldn’t pass up and put in an offer. In the meantime we went out of town to NYC for a quick 2 day trip (so much fun!). To my surprise, Daniel proposed and I of course accepted!! While in NYC, we found out that our offer was accepted on the lot! And within 2 days of being home, we sold our condo! Wheew!

In saying all of that, while we were out searching for a lot in the Mequon, Grafton, Jackson area, I was thinking to myself how overrun these towns are with Aveda. I asked around, played with the idea of a second location, and while driving around one day found a space. In fact, found quite a perfect space - right in the heart of Cedarburg.

After hashing out all the pros & cons with my future husband (hehe!) we decided it was a great opportunity to bring something wonderful to Cedarburg and the surrounding areas while giving me the chance to work closer to our future home. Not only am I going to be doing skin care, but I am going to be offering some very exclusive home decor and gift lines! You haven’t seen retail this great! I promise!

So, another path on our journey begins. I am very excited to bring Dr. Hauschka Treatments and products to the town of Cedarburg. If you are not familiar with Cedarburg, it is an adorable historic place just 15 minutes north of Milwaukee. It is home to Strawberry Fest, which over the past few years has grown into a state-wide event.

Our exact opening date is still to be determined, but most likely I will open the doors the second or third week of June. Without a doubt, we will be open and be an active participant for Strawberry Fest which is June 28 & 29. Please stop by, introduce yourself, get a sample of product and book yourself a treatment!
