Recently we were very flattered when the “where to go in Milwaukee” website; Onmilwaukee.com, did an article on Halcyon Mode. The second location for Halcyon Mode in Cedarburg is officially open!! Strawberry Fest was a blast! And though we had to battle some storms, we made it through successfullly.
Our store hours for the summer are going to be:
Tuesday-Thursday 10am-6pm
Friday 10am-8pm
Saturdays 10am- 4pm
But due to taking appointments in the Third Ward, it’s best to call ahead if you have a day in mind that you want to come in and shop and have a free consultation. Sometimes our schedule gets moved around a bit! But we want to make sure we get to all our clients!!

We all know that Hollywood is of course full of gorgeous women. And many, long for their secrets. Well besides just great genes, there obviously has to be some great habits and regimes involved. I was fascinated to find that the always adorable, classy and sexy, Jennifer Aniston, is an avid user of Dr. Hauschka!
In 2006, Jen revealed to Harper’s Bazaar 
that her favorite products to maintain that glow are, in fact, old standbys;

I will openly admit that I will continue to dream about the day that I would have the opportunity to give Ms. Aniston a Dr. Hauschka Treatment. Wow! What can I say?! There has been a lot going on around here for not only Halcyon Mode, but myself as well. Let me give you a little run-down of it all :
First, my boyfriend and I decided to build a home instead of buy and thought the search for a lot would take a lot longer than it did. We found something in Jackson that we couldn’t pass up and put in an offer. In the meantime we went out of town to NYC for a quick 2 day trip (so much fun!). To my surprise, Daniel proposed and I of course accepted!! While in NYC, we found out that our offer was accepted on the lot! And within 2 days of being home, we sold our condo! Wheew!
In saying all of that, while we were out searching for a lot in the Mequon, Grafton, Jackson area, I was thinking to myself how great of a town is Cedarburg! So quaint, so historic & full of energy! I asked around, played with the idea of it, and while driving around one day found a space. In fact, found quite a perfect space - right in the heart of Cedarburg.
After hashing out all the pros & cons with my future husband (hehe!) we decided it was a great opportunity to bring something wonderful to Cedarburg and the surrounding areas while giving me the chance to work closer to our future home. Not only am I going to be doing skin care, but I am going to be offering some very exclusive home decor and gift lines! You haven’t seen retail this great! I promise!
So, another path on our journey begins. I am very excited to bring Dr. Hauschka Treatments and products to the town of Cedarburg. If you are not familiar with Cedarburg, it is an adorable historic place just 15 minutes north of Milwaukee. It is home to Strawberry Fest, which over the past few years has grown into a state-wide event.
Our exact opening date is still to be determined, but most likely I will open the doors the second or third week of June. Without a doubt, we will be open and be an active participant for Strawberry Fest which is June 28 & 29. Please stop by, introduce yourself, get a sample of product and book yourself a treatment!

Around the nation many of us celebrated Earth Day this last Tuesday, April 22. And if by chance you turned on your television at all, you would have witnessed all of the eco-friendly tributes on about any channel you switched to.
One in particular caught my eye and heart. And the reason it caught my heart is because two women that I have always admired in the Hollywood world for their generosity and sincerity, spoke highly of my beloved; Dr. Hauschka.
Julia Roberts was on Oprah Tuesday and featured on the show was Dr. Haushcka as one of the top eco-friendly, non-toxic, and organic skin care lines! Julia is a big advocate for the line and has been quoted in the past as loving the Dr. Hauschka facials.
Sophie Uliano, author of Gorgeously Green, who also was on the show, had some great advice when looking at your skin care products:
“Read the label before you reapply your face cream. If it has germall as an ingredient, you might want to think twice. This releases toxic gases from the formaldehyde,”
Seeing the line that I am honored to work with everyday and love so much on Oprah, made my heart flutter a little bit. (ok, a lot, but who’s counting?!)
